Gary S. Deegear, M.D. obtained a B.S. in Geology at Stephen F. Austin State University and a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center.

He is Board Eligible in Family Practice and practiced for several years in combination Family and Emergency Medicine clinics; he has also worked in a drug rehabilitation facility and carried on a charity practice for 15 years.

Dr. Deegear completed advance studies in Traffic Accident Reconstruction, Bloodstain Evidence at Northwestern University and Medico-Legal Death Investigation at St. Louis University. He is a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences.

Dr. Deegear is a Licensed Private Investigator and Crime Scene Investigator in the State of Texas. His focus for the past 13 years has been the application of forensics and medicine to injury analysis and accident investigation.

He is currently involved in investigations and consultations in injuries involving child products, power tools, automobiles, heavy equipment, slip and falls, human performance and drug effects, and thermal exposure.
